BR Par Capital was built to give American founders and family offices the kind of advice big banks used to give — slow, honest, and personally accountable.
Stephanie founded BR Par Capital in 2016 after fifteen years of advising privately-held businesses on capital raises, sales, and generational transitions. Her practice grew out of a simple observation: the founders and families making the biggest decisions of their business lives were often getting the least of their advisors' attention.
She built BR Par to be small on purpose. Every client works directly with Stephanie from the first conversation through closing. Her work has spanned manufacturing, professional services, healthcare, agriculture, real estate, and consumer businesses across Colorado, the Mountain West, and the country.
Stephanie holds a B.S. in Finance and an M.B.A. She serves on two independent advisory boards and lives in Pueblo West, Colorado, with her family.
We don't sell securities. We don't take referral fees from lenders or buyers. Our only revenue is the fee you pay us — which is exactly why our advice can be uncomfortably honest.
Sensitive conversations demand sensitive infrastructure. We use encrypted document exchange, keep client rosters private, and are comfortable being invisible in the deals we help create.
We cap the number of active mandates each year. If we're on your project, we're not spread across nine others.
The best exits are prepared for years, not months. We're happy to spend a year with a client before there is any transaction to talk about.
No jargon. No ninety-slide decks. We put the recommendation on page one and defend it in three paragraphs.
A mix of fixed retainers and success fees means we win when you do — not when the transaction is loudest, largest, or fastest.
Beyond Stephanie, we work with a hand-picked bench of independent specialists — senior bankers, tax attorneys, quality-of-earnings accountants, and operating partners — brought in only when a specific engagement calls for their skills.

The best way to find out is a 30-minute conversation. It's free, confidential, and you'll leave with something useful whether or not we work together.
